Privacy Policy

reachdev.io ("we", "us") is a marketplace where companies pay credits to contact developers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. By using reachdev.io you agree to the practices described here.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and a hashed password (for email/password sign-up).
  • Sign-in provider data: if you sign in with GitHub or LinkedIn, we receive your public profile identifier, name, email, and (for GitHub) your username. We use this only to create and verify your account. We do not post on your behalf.
  • Profile data: the information you choose to publish — handle, title, bio, skills, location, availability, links, and your access price in credits.
  • Messages: the content of conversations exchanged between recruiters and developers on the platform.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers; we keep a Stripe customer identifier and records of credit purchases and payouts.
  • Usage data: basic analytics (pages visited, device, approximate region) via Google Analytics.

2. How we use your data

  • To create your account and authenticate you.
  • To operate the marketplace: publish profiles, route contact requests, and deliver messages.
  • To process credit purchases and developer payouts.
  • To send transactional emails (email verification, contact notifications).
  • To prevent spam and abuse, and to improve the product.

3. Service providers

We share data only with processors that help us run the service:

  • Neon — authentication database.
  • Convex — application backend and data storage.
  • Stripe — payments and developer payouts.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
  • Google Analytics — usage analytics.
  • GitHub and LinkedIn — only when you choose to sign in with them.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to comply with legal or accounting obligations (for example, payment records).

6. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
